We are currently uncertain about the impact school closures will have on tutoring. The situation is evolving quickly, but our hope is that we will be able to deliver a high volume of work online. Tutor Trust was a partner in the National Pilot of Online Tutoring in Summer 2020, and we are experienced in delivering online tutoring to pupils at home. We have well-developed procedures to ensure tutor and pupil safeguarding and high-quality online delivery, and we believe that many of our partner schools will choose to move to online delivery while schools are closed. If you are currently on an assignment or have an assignment that was due to start, your Coordinator will be in touch with specific details as soon as they have made contact with the school.

Some tutoring may be postponed, but the government is aiming to reopen schools as soon as possible, and the hope is that pupils may return to school following the February half-term. Once pupils are in school there is likely to be a very high demand for face-to-face tutoring.
