Tutor Trust case studies

Building strong working relationships with our school partners is key to our success in supporting their pupils to succeed and in closing the attainment gap.

We monitor quality throughout the tutoring programme to ensure pupils are able to achieve their potential. We also gather feedback in our annual School Partner and Tutor surveys, as well as from pupils.

You can hear more from some of our school partners, tutors, tutees and supporters on our anniversary video:

We also have a number of case studies featuring some of our school partners.

Hear from Assistant Principal Paul Jennings of Corpus Christi Catholic College in Leeds about the difference tutoring has made in his school:

You can also hear more from our school partners in each region on the links below:

The Tutor Trust were flexible to our needs and the needs of our students and they always readily tailored anything we asked to suit our circumstances. In addition the quality of tutoring was excellent and the fact that the tutors were young made them more accessible to our students.”

Phil Boulton, Vice Principal, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic High School, Widnes, Merseyside.

The tutors were well trained, professional and built very positive  relationships with our pupils.  The children really enjoyed working with them and they really benefited from working in a small group.”

Judith Richens, Headteacher, Marlborough Road Academy, Salford, Greater Manchester.

Poppy [the tutor] was so good I would have loved to have employed her myself. An outstanding tutor who brought the best out of the pupils. All 12 had accelerated learning, improved wellbeing and became more resilient.”

Chris Dyson, Headteacher, Parklands Primary School, Leeds.
