Jude King

Communications Manager

Expand
c6ccb0f1-da7a-48b9-abfc-2e8bf67c0fd1

Jude has worked in communications for a number of years, supporting organisations to share their story with their respective workforces, to engage their teams and convert them into advocates.  She has worked across a range of sectors including housing, health, insurance and local government.

Jude started her career as a journalist, cutting her teeth on local newspapers before moving to the Liverpool Echo, where she was a feature writer and TV Editor. From there she moved into a fundraising and communications role with St Ann’s Hospice, before focusing on internal communications.

Jude is a passionate advocate for the benefits of voluntary work - both to the individual and the organisation they serve.  She has volunteered for a number of charities in recent years, including St Ann’s Hospice and more recently with two Manchester organisations working to prevent homelessness - the Booth Centre and Mustard Tree.

Joining Tutor Trust as Communications Manager feeds Jude’s ambition to support young people to achieve their potential through education and to enable them to access more opportunities as adults.
