As a tutor, you will often work with pupils who would otherwise not have access to tuition and who are either not making their expected progress or who require an extra push to achieve even more. Unlike private tutors, we work directly with schools rather than parents and tutoring typically takes place at these schools during the day.

For Primary School tutoring you will be working with Year 5 and Year 6 students. For Secondary School tutoring you will be working with all ages, but the majority of the tutoring is for students studying for their GCSEs. You will work either 1:1 with the students or with groups of up to three students.

We work across the Greater Manchester, Leeds-Bradford and Merseyside city regions, so our tutors must be prepared to travel for as much as an hour to get to their assignments. Normally, tutoring sessions take place face-to-face in the student's school and during the school day.
