We are pleased to announce that tuition this autumn term is now underway, and we have returned to St. William of York Primary School. Last year we had tutors Afeefah Mohammed and Farida Dhada delivering tuition to Year Five and Six pupils. Claire Bowell, the Year 6 class teacher was really happy with the difference our tutors had on the SATs results for pupils who were tutored. She said:

“The children thoroughly enjoyed the tutor sessions and made excellent progress with their tutors. Tutor Trust had a direct and measurable impact.

This year, we are happy that Afeefah is returning to continue the tuition she started with Year 5 pupils in summer 2018. As of today, tuition started again for the rest of the academic year, and Claire said she was, “thrilled the Tutor Trust is going to be working with us again this year!”

Afeefah certainly seems to be excited about returning, saying “After a long summer break, I am really looking forward to getting back into tutoring. I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions at St William of York Primary before the summer and I am delighted to tutor there again. I have some very exciting resources and some creative lesson ideas that I am eagerly waiting to get working with!”
