Quality and Impact Manager

Hannah joined us as a part-time Secondary English tutor in 2016 whilst studying Psychology at The University of Manchester. She is passionate about helping children to thrive and was awarded an ESRC-funded grant to assist with research in child language development at the LuCiD Child Study Centre at the university.

After graduating in 2018, Hannah joined the Teach First programme due to her passion for tackling educational inequality. She worked as a Secondary Geography Teacher in the North West where she gained QTS and a PGDE. In 2020, Hannah joined the Tutor Trust team as a Quality Manager and has since moved over to the Impact Team as Quality and Impact Manager. Her key responsibilities are measuring impact at key intervals throughout the academic year, improving our internal processes, developing and delivering the quality strategy, leading on our Advanced Tutor Pathway and carrying out tutor quality checks. She is also a member of the Poverty & Place research group in partnership with the University of Manchester. She is currently working towards her PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner qualification in Project Management.

Hannah says: “I have always loved working for Tutor Trust, as its mission strongly resonates with my core values. The opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, even outside the classroom, is something I find truly rewarding. Tutor Trust's unwavering ambition is genuinely inspirational. The constant pursuit of excellence and growth is a testament to our commitment to the cause. We are a data-driven organisation, placing the well-being and development of the young people we serve at the forefront of all our decisions.

"Since my association with Tutor Trust began in 2016, I've witnessed the organisation's remarkable journey of progress and success. Being able to contribute to this incredible journey through my work is a source of great pride for me. I am eagerly looking forward to the exciting path of success that lies ahead for our organisation as we support more young people and transform their lives through tutoring.”
