  • To plan and deliver tuition to primary/secondary school-aged pupils (from 9-16 years old) across Hartlepool in English and Maths on a 1:1 to 1:4 ratio
  • To complete appropriate paperwork relating to tuition with pupils (registers, feedback sheets, etc.)
  • To liaise with the Hartlepool Programmes team and the quality team
  • To undergo any appropriate training throughout the role to enhance the quality and impact of tutoring delivery
  • To support other tutors as appropriate
  • To be involved in Tutor Trust tutorials and training where required
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of the post

Reports to: Sharon Sadler, Strategic Partnerships Manager

Salary: £24,960 per annum. This is a full-time position (36.25 hours across five days a week)

Start date: August 2025 (subject to completed enhanced DBS check)

Interview details: 31 July 2025 (via Microsoft Teams)

Place of Work: Educational settings across Hartlepool

DBS Requirement: All Tutor Trust staff must have an enhanced DBS check suitable for the child workforce.
