Tutor Trust are delighted that schools will fully reopen for all pupils on Monday 8 March.  We have been delivering tutoring support online during the lockdown, so we are looking forward to being back in the classroom and supporting our pupils face to face.

Co-Founder & CEO Nick Bent talks about the challenges pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds were already facing before the pandemic, in an opinion piece in the Yorkshire Post today. Nick talks about the important role tutoring plays going forward, in helping young people catch-up academically.

As a National Tutoring Programme Tuition Partner, our programmes are heavily subsidised enabling us to reach disadvantaged young people who have been most affected. Tutor Trust wants to continue to ‘transform lives through tutoring’ and our gold standard evidence from a Randomised Control Trial proves that.  There is also strong evidence that tutoring can make a profound difference to a pupil’s self-confidence and aspirations.

As schools reopen fully, we want to continue to reach as many young people as possible who would benefit from our tutoring over the coming weeks and months.  If you think your pupils would benefit, please get in touch.
