Time for Me offers one-to-one support that encourages children and young people to develop their learning confidence and resilience. Each pupil will receive 18 hours of support, including six hours of one-to-one mentoring and 12 hours of bespoke one-to-one tuition in either English, Maths, or Science.
The mentoring programme covers:
- Motivating reluctant learners and building relationships,
- Coaching conversations,
- Asking the right questions and active listening,
- Developing challenging learning goals and prompts and cues,
- Closing the loop – reflection
Impact is measured using baseline and endpoint tests, pupil voice, and the Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale.
The programme offers support for pupils in Years 7-11 supported.
The cost is £400 for 18 sessions (including 12 hours of tuition and six hours of Mentoring.)
