Who we are

Tutor Trust is a proudly northern charity working in collaboration with schools, colleges and education providers to transform lives through tutoring in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Tees Valley and West Yorkshire

Our impact in primary schools

Tutor Trust's primary school programmes have a strong evidence base. A large-scale randomised control trial conducted by the Education Endowment Foundation found that Year 6 pupils receiving maths tutoring from Tutor Trust made three months of additional progress compared with their peers.

Tutoring Plus

Our Tutoring Plus offer consists of a range of tailored programmes that combine academic support with a focus on the whole child. Tutoring Plus programmes are open to all and most commonly used to support cared for children, those attending alternative provision and those persistently absent from school.
