Our tutors

Our primary tutors are recruited based on academic credentials and an ability to build supportive relationships with children. They have all received comprehensive training in pedagogy, lesson planning, building relationships and the primary curriculum. All have an enhanced DBS and receive annual safeguarding training.

The Right Angle

The Right Angle is an award-winning collaboration between Tutor Trust and sister charity TLC: Talk, Listen, Change. It provides a highly-subsidised programme of both 1:1 tutoring and counselling to young people in Greater Manchester, most of whom are Cared For or attending Alternative Provision.
